【教学目标】
1.通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生复习一般现在时动词的第三人称单数用法。
2.通过Think and write活动,帮助学生运用核心词汇描述儿童节活动。
【教学重难点】
1.句型:In the morning, we have a party. / Our classroom looks beautiful.
2.日常用语:Fine, thanks. / Happy Children's Day!

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.播放有关儿童节的儿歌录音,让学生模仿并跟读儿歌。
2.出示几张图片(park, cinema, zoo, party),要求学生选择其中的一幅,并回答问题。
T: Do you like Children's Day?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: What do you do on Children's Day?
S1: I... (go to the zoo/...)
T: What does ... do on Children's Day?
S1: He/ She...
II. While-task procedures
1.依次出示Listen and say的四张图片,学生看图回答问题。
T: Today is the first of June. It's Children's Day. Look at Picture 1. Is it in the morning or in the afternoon?
S1: In the morning.
T: What can you see in Picture 2?
S2: I can see some balloons.
T: Where are the children?
S3: They're in the classroom.
T: Where are Alice and her parents in Picture 4?
S4: They're in the park.
2.播放Listen and say的录音。学生看图听录音,并跟着录音跟读,然后根据课文回答问题。
(1)When is Children's Day? (It's in June.)
(2)What do the children do in the morning? (They have a class party at school. They sing and dance.)
(3)Is their classroom beautiful? (Yes, it's beautiful.)
(4)What do Alice and her parents do in the afternoon? (They go to the park.)
3.播放录音,学生模仿录音朗读对话。
4.把学生分成六人一组,要求他们分角色表演对话。鼓励学生使用更多的学过的句子来改编对话。
S1: Hello, Jill!
S2: Hello, Alice!
S1: How are you?
S2: Fine, thanks.
S1, S2 & S3: Good morning, Miss Fang.
S4: Good morning. Happy Children's Day!
S2: Alice and Jill, let's sing a song together.
S1, S2 & S5: (sing a song)
S6: Let's take a photo here.
S1: Yes!
III. Post-task activities
1.让学生看Think and write栏目,模仿课本上的范例,先和同伴口头说一说自己在儿童节计划做什么,然后写几句话描述。
2.提供一段文字,要求学生听或读两遍,并完成连线练习,再进行反馈。
Today is Children's day. All my friends are happy. In the morning, we have a class party at school. We sing, dance and play games. In the afternoon, Jim and I go to the zoo. We see many lovely animals there. Leo and Kitty go to the park and they play on the swings. Tim and Danny go to the cinema. What a nice day!
