When it comes to Chengdu, you may think of delicious food and wonderful nightlife. This summer, there was a special bus in Chengdu—hot pot bus. People could enjoy hot pot while visiting the city's famous streets. It opened a new experience of Chengdu night play.
The trip started from Chunxi Road and passed through famous places such as Sichuan TV Tower, and Tianfu Square. It took about 90 minutes. Tourists could sit on the bus and eat hot pot while enjoying the beauty of Chengdu along the way. The “ticket” for the hot pot bus was 89 yuan per package [for at most 2 customers(顾客)],which included the bus ride, a set menu, and tour guide service. The bus accepted (接受) orders from May 20th and ended on June 19th. It only ran for one month, and the opening time was 19:00 every day. The seats were changed to sit in pairs, and napkins (餐巾纸) were placed on the table. There were 8 dining tables in the whole bus. The food on the bus was mainly served by a famous restaurant in Chengdu, Dalongyi Hotpot. All food was cooked well. People didn't need to heat the food and could eat it at once. Because of the different tastes of tourists, the bus made the taste of the hot pot meet the needs of as many people as possible.
There was also a driving helper talking about the history of the Chengdu hot pot and the stories of the places of interest along the way to the hot pot lovers, so the whole trip was not boring.

Is there anybody who likes doing housework? Should children help out around the house? For some children, doing housework may be the last thing they want to do. For many parents, getting their children to help with housework is also one big headache. However, Nurafiza,a Malaysian mother found a creative way.

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC,中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会) opened on Oct. 16 in Beijing. Over 2,290 delegates (代表) were at the meeting. They are all excellent CPC members (成员). They are from all walks of life and they have done a great job in their work. Liu Xiuxiang, a teacher helping students in rural Guizhou, is one of them.
At 5:30 am, Liu Xiuxiang walks around the classroom. The 34-year-old is the vice-principal (副校长) and a history teacher at Wangmo Experimental High School in Guizhou. He had done this for 10 years.
Liu lived a hard life when he was young. His father died. To take care of his mother and help two girls and a boy in his hometown,he took many part-time jobs such as tutoring (家教) and being a waiter.
Sadly, one of the girls dropped out of school (辍学) after middle school. This touched Liu. So he decided to teach in his hometown. Besides teaching, he visited all the villages around his school to persuade (说服) parents to let their children finish compulsory education (义务教育).
