Horsetail Fall (瀑布) is one of Yosemite National Park's most amazing views. Around the second week of February, the setting sun hits Horsetail Fall at just the right angle (角度) to light the upper parts of the waterfall. And when conditions are right, Horsetail Fall becomes orange and red at sunset. It is like red⁃hot lava (熔岩) pouring down from the top of the El Capitan(酋长岩). So, it got the name “firefall”.

I was small for my age. I was shy and it was hard for me to make friends. However, learning came quite easy for me. I was the best in most of my classes, but PE class was my nightmare (噩梦).
