Unit 1 What can you smell and taste? Lesson 1【教学目标】1．知识与技能：To learn the following new words: watermelon, grape, cherry, strawberry, plum.2．过程与方法：To encourage students to use the new words.3．情感、态度和价值观：To encourage students to act out the dialogue.【教学重点】To use the words and phrases correctly.【教学难点】能准确理解短语意思，并能运用于实际生活中。【教学准备】Multimedia, PPT, etc.【教学过程】一、导入新课： 1．Sing a song. <Apple Tree>and write the adjectives in the song: red, round, juicy and sweet.2．Daily talk.Do you like apples?What colour is the apple?How does it taste/smell?二、自主学习melon, watermelon, grape, cherry, strawberry, plum. 学生试读，找出难发音的单词。三、新知传授1．Show the students for watermelon, grape, cherry, strawberry, plum in ‘Look and Learn’ on Page 3 of the Student’s Book and ask the students to read and spell the words after you.T: (Show the flashcard for watermelon)Watermelon. W-A-T-E-R-M-E-L-O-N, watermelon.Ss: Watermelon. W-A-T-E-R-M-E-L-O-N, watermelon.2．Play the game ‘Quick response ‘with the students to help them remember the new words.
