Chinese people are eating too much salt. On general, people in China eat about 10.5 grams of salt each day, much higher than the 6 grams advised by Chinese Dietary Guidelines (2016). To solve this, China issued(发布) the first salt reduction guide for its food industry on April 18. The government hopes that can help people have salt in a proper way.
If the guide is followed properly, the salt intake(摄入量) for Chinese people will drop by 20 percent by 2030. The salt we take in mainly comes from processed food. For example, there is about 0.66 grams of salt in a 104-gram can of Lay’s potato chips. That is about 10 percent of the daily salt intake. A 100-gram bag of Kang Shi Fu instant noodles has nearly 2 grams of salt. Therefore, it’s necessary for the companies to reduce salt in their products.
A small amount of salt makes food taste better and is important for good health, but eating too much increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes(中风), the Xinhua News Agency reported.
Less salt leads to better health. And there’s no need to worry that food will be less tasty in the future. A study found that it’s easy for people to reduce their salt intake. Although you may think your food is not salty enough at first, you will get used to the new taste soon.
61.What does the underlined word “that” in the first paragraph refer to?
A.The salt intake. B.The food industry.
C.6 grams of salt. D.Salt reduction guide.
62.According to the passage, what can we learn about the processed food?
A.There is salt in processed food.
B.Companies add too much salt to processed food.
C.Processed food causes lots of diseases to people.
D.People have too much processed food in the daily life.
63.Which of the following picture shows the relationship between salt and diseases?
A. B. C. D.
64.If people have less salt, they will ________.
A.have less food B.get used to the taste
C.dislike the taste D.worry about their food
65.What’s the main idea of the passage?
A.Eat salt properly to stay healthy.
B.How can people stay away from diseases.
C.Companies should add less salt to their products.
D.The less salt you have, the more healthy you will be.
八、阅读还原5选5
How do we know about things that happened thousands of years ago, when there were no videos or photos? One answer is written records. 66
More than 3,000 years ago, people in the Shang Dynasty (16th—11th century B.C.) liked to ask fortune tellers(占卜师) about the future. For example, what will the weather be like next week? Where should I go to make money? Will my kid be successful in the future? 67 The fortune teller would write the question on an oracle bone, heat it up, and then read the cracks(裂纹) in it to find an answer.
68 They can tell us a great deal about how people lived during the Shang Dynasty. “They help us understand the origins of Chinese philosophy(哲学) and thought, and find out where our culture comes from,” Song Zhenhao, a leading oracle bone expert, told China Daily.
In addition to telling us about ancient Chinese culture, the oracle bones are also key to understanding the growth and development of the written form of the Chinese language. 69 “The oracle bone inscriptions, as the earliest-known form of Chinese characters, stand for the beauty and specificity of a language that has been passed down.” said Chen Nan, a professor at Tsinghua University.
In 2017, UNESCO added oracle bone inscriptions to its Memory of the World Register(“世界记忆”名录). 70
A.They are indeed an important memory of ancient China.
B.Tens of thousands of oracle bones have been found so far.

Students need to have a healthy school life. What can we do to make it? Here I’ve got some ideas to share with you.
First, it’s important to keep our school clean. For example, we can clean the floor and desks every day, because a good environment is helpful to our study and health. Second, it’s good to do some sports like running, playing basketball and so on. Third, we’d better look after ourselves well by developing good living habits, such as washing hands in time and wearing masks when it is necessary. Finally, if we get on well with each other and are in a good mood, we’ll enjoy a happy and healthy school life.
I hope they will work for you!
