(3)动词need, require, want作“需要”以及deserve作“值得”之意时,后面接-ing形式或动词不定式的被动式。need/want/require/deserve ding = need/want/require/deserve t be dne e.g.: The bike needs repairing/t be repaired.These little children require lking after carefully/t be lked after carefully. (4)用-ing形式作宾语的句型:It is n use/gd ding 做某事没有用/没好处send sb ding sth 使得某人做某事spend sme time (in) ding sth 花时间做某事have fun/have a gd time/have a bad time ding sth 做某事很(不)愉快have (n) difficulty (in) ding sth 做某事有(没有)困难catch sb ding sth 碰上/捉住某人做某事there in n pint ding sth 做某事没有意义there is n denying that ... 毋庸置疑……“There is n ding ...” 表示“不允许、禁止某种行为的发生或存在”e.g.: I have n difficulty (in) cmmunicating with freigners.
(5)动词的-ing形式作宾语 VS 动词的 t d形式作宾语 ① 在表示抽象的一般的多次性行为时多用-ing形式;在表示具体的或一次性的动作,特别是将来的动作时,多用t d。e.g.: Smking is frbidden here. (泛指吸烟)e.g.: It’s nt gd fr yu t smke s much. (指你吸烟)② 有些动词既能接不定式t d,又能接-ing形式,表达的意义不一样。如:remember ding sth 记得做了某事remember t d sth 记住要去做某事frget ding sth 忘记做了某事 frget t d sth 忘记要去做某事 regret ding sth 后悔做了某事 regret t d sth 遗憾要去做某事 e.g.: I remember psting the letter. 4. 动词的-ing形式作表语:(1)作用:① 用来泛指某种动作或行为,以说明主语的身份。e.g.: My great happiness is serving peple. ② 表示主语的内容,表示与主语一样的事情或情况。e.g.: Her hbby is painting. ③ 用来说明事物(主语)的特征,相当于形容词。修饰物时用-ing结尾的形容词。e.g. The result f the student’s test is disappinting.
