Teacher(holding some things): My son often lost these things. Most of us sometimes lost things. Please write five things we lost easily in the school.StepⅢ Pre-reading(Cooperation inquiry five minutes) Students write down their answers on Page 17 2a in the book, then check each other. Pay attention to whether they write right words. Teacher: how can we find the lost things in the school? Let students discuss in pairs. Answers are variety. One of possible answer may be: write a lost notice. Very good! In English-speaking countries, students will put up Lost or Found notice on the board if they lose or find something in the school. Let’s have a look at 2b. Some notices are be given.Step IV While-reading (the skill of skimming and scanning, independent and cooperation inquiry seventeen minutes )Skimming:Teacher: How many notices are there in the picture? (Four.) Students read four notices quickly in silence by themselves and finish the following tasks.Task1: Read the notices on the board and circle the lost things.Students answer, teacher write down on the blackboard: computer game, watch, keys, school ID card.Task2: Match the things with the person.Students match, teacher check the answer.Task3: Put the following sentences into the right order.
