Step 1 Warm-up

1.      Let’s have a dictation:turn left,turn right,go straight,crossing
2.      Read the conversation in page 4.

Step 2 Presentation

1.     Wu Binbin is calling Mike.What are they doing?Listen and tick or cross.Please retell the conversation.Then check the answer.
2.     Wu Binbin and Mike are talking in front of the ccinema.Show a picture to students,now I will play the recording for you.Listen and circle the new words.
3.     Help students to understand “interesting,Italian,pizza,restaurant,street,get”.Teach the words.Help students to read the words.
4.     Let students read the words together.Then play the recording again,let students listen and answer the questions:

How can Wu Binbin and Mike get to the restaurant?Ask two students to answer and check with others.

5.     Give students three minutes to underline some important or difficult sentences.Help students to understand.
