Listen and enjoy

Make a dialogue

Play the recording for “Listen and enjoy” and have the students say the rhyme aloud in groups. Then encourage them to create a new rhyme.

Show the pictures of food on the blackboard．Have the students spell the words according to the given pictures. Then ask them to make a short dialogue according to the food items in pairs.

While-task procedure

Look and read

Learn the sounds

1．Have the students look at the pictures for “Look and read” and describe the healthy children and unhealthy ones. Write some key phrases on the blackboard．

2．Have the students listen to the recording of a girl talking about her diet and then tick the food items they hear.

1．Show the phonetic symbol cards for the sounds. Read the words in “Learn the sounds” Ask the students to repeat after the tape until they can pronounce the sounds correctly.

2．Listen and circle.

Post-task activity

Look and say

1．Have the students work in groups of four to design a healthy diet for themselves or the one for their school canteen using the pattern “We have… for breakfast./We have… on Monday. ”

2．Do task “Good eating and living habits” of the Workbook.

小组合作的方式活跃课堂气氛，同时培养学生之间相互交流的能力，同时让学生养成健康的生活习惯。
