Our new home 教学设计第一课时教材版本上海教育出版社(三年级起点)五年级下册教学内容Listen and enjoy, Look and learn, Ask and answer.教材分析本单元主要学习study, dining room, why, because等词汇,学会用Why do you like …?询问别人喜欢某物的原因,并能用Because...说明喜欢的原因。本课时是这个单元的第一课时。学情分析五年级的学生已经有了两年学习英语的基础,在学习方法和学习策略方面有了一定的经验,求知欲和表现欲很强,所以在教学时我尽量放开手,让学生通过小组合作来完成学习任务。鼓励学生大胆说,培养他们学习英语的兴趣和自信心。教学目标1.通过Listen and enjoy的儿歌朗读,活跃课堂气氛,并引出本单元的话题。2.通过look and learn栏目,帮助学生掌握本单元的重点词汇。3.通过Ask and answer栏目,巩固所学词汇和句子。教学重、难点1.能掌握单词why, because, study, dining room。2.会运用句型Do you like…?I like…I can… Why? Because…教学方法任务教学法、情景教学法。教学准备多媒体课件教学过程Pre-task preparations1.让学生看Listen and enjoy的图片,并出示第一个问题。T:Who lives in the shoe?S1: An old woman.S2: An old woman and her children.S3: An old woman and her big family.2.播放视频,出示第二和第三个问题。T : What does the old woman do?S1: She gives the children some food.T: What does she say?S2:”It’s time to go to bed”.3.再次播放视频,学生齐唱。4.闪现一些房间的图片让学生说出单词。T:which room is it?S:It’s a…5.学生两人一组,一个同学拿出自己家的图片或平面图,另一个学生问:S1:What’s in your home?S2: There’s a…6.教师接着问生2: Do you like your new home? How many rooms do you have ? which room do you like?7.出示Listen and enjoy 部分主题图。T:Where is Sally and her dad?S:They’re in their new home.T: Today, we’ll learn a new lesson Unit 2 Our new home.(板书课题)While-task procedures1.T:Look, they are coming.出示书房图片。问:Which room are they now?学习单词study。点击喇叭,学生跟读,板书。然后开火车读单词。出示Chant,学生齐读。Study, study, I like the study.Do you like the study?Yes, I do.Yes, I do.出示做作业的图片和单词。T: What can you do in the study?S1: I can do my homework in the study. T:Do you like the study?S1:Yes ,I do.T:Why?(学习单词why)课件出示:why表示为什么,用来询问原因。一般用because(因为)来回答。T:Why do you like the study?引导生1回答:Because …出示读书的图片和单词。T: What can you do in the study?S2: I can read books.T:Do you like the study?S1:Yes ,I do.T:Why ?引导生2回答:Because …2.出示餐厅图片,问:Which room are they now?学习单词dining room.点击喇叭,学生跟读。(板书)然后分小组读。出示Chant,学生齐读。Dining room, dining room, I like the dining room.Do you like the dining room?Yes, I do.Yes, I do.出示吃晚饭的图片和单词。T: What can you do in the dining room?S1: I can have dinner in the dining room. T:Why ?S:Because …3.课件出示一张房间平面图,教师描述在每个房间能干什么,让学生猜是哪个房间。4.出示Ask and answer部分Nancy和Dan家中房间的图片,教师分别对Nancy和Dan的家进行描述,让学生猜测哪个是Nancy的家,哪个是Dan的家。T: In Nancy’s home, there’s a living room, a bedroom and a study. In Dan’s home, there’s also a living room, a study and a bedroom. But there’s a piano in Nancy’s bedroom. In Dan’s bedroom, there’s a picture on the wall. Which is Nancy’s home and which is Dan’s home? 5.出示Nancy家和Dan家房间的图片,任选一个,两人一组对话,巩固和运用所学语言。S1:Which room do you like in Nancy’s/Dan’s home?S2: I like the …S1:Why ?S2:Because …Post-task activity1.总结本节课所学内容。2.出示谚语:East(东)or west(西)home is the best.3.作业:(1)画一张自己家的平面图,利用所学知识进行讨论。(2)预习Listen and say。板书设计:Unit2 Our new homeWhy ,because , study , dining roomDo you like ... ?I like...I can ...Why?Because ...课后小结:这节课,我本着“以学生为中心,教师引导,多媒体教学为手段”的设计理念。在整个教学过程中,坚持以学生为主,多给学生创造表现的机会,利用多媒体课件辅助教学。导入部分,我利用Listen and enjoy部分图片和视频,让学生回答问题,并让学生带着动作演唱这首歌,很容易就把学生的积极性调动起来了。紧接着,让学生两人一组进行对话,让学生参与进来,学生兴趣更浓了。最后用Listen and say 部分的图片引入新课。新课,在学习study和dining room 时,为了方便学生记忆,我编了两个chant,学生很感兴趣。在学习study后,相机引出why和because.学习完单词以后,通过游戏和活动,巩固本节课所学知识,主要通过小组合作来完成。总的来说,这节课很成功,同学们的表现都很活跃,教学效果也很好。但也有不足之处,由于有些同学基础较差,接受比较慢,有时跟不上教学节奏,这一点考虑不足。
