Step 1: Warm-up& Lead-in1.Greetings.
2.Watch a video Q: What’s wrong with them? Lead in the sentence: I’m hungry. Lead students to read the new word hungry for three times and write down the sentence on the blackboard.
Step 2: Presentation1.Watch and answer T: Look! Who are they? Ss: Sarah and her mum. T: Yes. Look at Sarah. What’s wrong with her? What does her mum say? Now Let’s watch the video and find the answers.
2.Teach the new words and the sentence pattern (1) bread some bread Chant: Bread ↗, bread ↘. Have some bread. Bread ↗, bread ↘. Eat some bread. Dialogue A: I’m hungry. B: Have/ Eat some bread. (2) juice some bread Chant: Juice ↗, juice ↘. Have some juice. Juice ↗, juice ↘. Drink some juice. Dialogue A: I’m hungry. B: Have/ Drink some juice. (3) egg an egg, some eggs Chant: Egg ↗, egg ↘. 4.Listen and repeat Play the recording of Let’s learn and ask students to read after it. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
