Module 4 Planes, ships and trains  一、    教学内容：Unit 3  Language in use二、    课型：Revision and application三、    教学目标：   1、能正确运用本模块的词汇：road, accident, except, far, far away, crowded, choice, classmate, all the time, journey, book, outside, close, park, however, cost journey, book, outside, choice, however等。2、能按类别整理单词或词组，提高单词学习效率。3、能运用形容词和副词的比较级和最高级。4、能够运用所学的知识，介绍自己或他人的旅行计划及乘坐的交通工具。四、  教学重难点：掌握形容词和副词的比较级和最高级的用法，并能描述并比较各种交通方式。五、  教学准备：本节课型为Revision and application，根据新课标的要求，结合教材和学生特点，主要采用任务型互动式进行教学，结合情景法、交际法、游戏等教学方法实施课堂活动，开启学生思维，通过一系列有条理的教学活动，引导学生自主探究学习和与他人互动合作学习，让学生体验愉快学习。本节课所需教具及资料：幻灯、图片等。六、  教学过程：教学步骤 教 师 活 动学 生 活 动活 动 目 的Leading-in（8’） 1.Free talk.Show the students  six pictures of vehicles and guide the students to make dialogues in this way：A: How do you often travel?B: I usually travel by plane. It is the fastest. How about you?A:I often go by car. It is the most comfortable way to travel.B…2.Play a game.Let the students read the following sentences as quickly as they can.  1) It’s the most comfortable way, but it’s the most expensive.2) He lives farthest from school.3) It is the fastest and the second cheapest.4) The more information, the better.   Talk about the six pictures of vehicles in pairs. T ②It is the fastest way to travel from Moscow to Vladivostok.  F   (3) The whole class to read it once.      通过活动一、二三和六的反复练习，复习巩固前面两个单元所掌握的语法和词汇。      通过咨询好朋友，获得与其有关的信息，并对信息进行综合，最后汇报有关情况。          学生快速地朗读有关听力的信息材料，然后听录音连线，本题是比较简单的听力训练，可以激起大部分学生的求知欲望，培养学生的自信心。      听录音回答问题无疑是学生的“老大难”，但由于是第二次播放此内容，学生已经有了一定的信息储备，从而有效地降低听力难度。使有限的听力材料得到反复听、反复用，在听和说的过程中培养学生听、说的技能。同时，这也是帮助学生熟悉背诵语言材料的有效手段，也是必要手段！ Around the world在此处作为阅读训练，让学生带着问题阅读，要求学生口头叙述阅读后所获得的信息，锻炼了说，也考查了读。阅读训练不仅仅是做几道题，更重要的是帮助学生从中获取信息，获得乐趣      学生只有通过大量的朗读，才能不断地纠正自己的语音和语调，逐步形成英语语感。3. Post-task (19’)        Make a holiday plan for a family trip to a city in China.（1） Ask the students to find a map of China.
