Unit11 Trees 【第二课时】【教学目标】通过Read a story的故事阅读,帮助学生进一步理解核心句型的用法。【教学重难点】1.词汇:miss, match, have to, cut... down, look for2.句型:They used the wood to make matches.【教学准备】课件、音频【教学过程】I. Pre-task preparations1.复习句型What do we get from trees? We get wood from trees.教师提问,学生回答。2.提问What do we use wood for? 学生使用核心句型We use wood to…回答。将学生的回答列在黑板上。We use wood to make pencilsmake desksmake chairsmake paperII. While-task procedures1.根据上一活动的板书作总结。T: We can use wood to make desks, chairs and many other things. We get wood from trees. Trees are very important.2.然后出示Read a story的挂图,让学生带着问题阅读故事,并找出答案,划出相关句子。(1)Who's the bird's friend? (Mr. Tree.)(2)What did the workers do to the tree? (They cut him down.)3.学生阅读故事之后回答问题,检测他们对故事的理解程度。T: Who is the bird's friend?S1: Mr. Tree is the bird's friend.T: What did the workers do to the tree?S2: They cut him down and took him to a factory.…T: What does the girl use the match for?S1: She uses it to make a fire.4.然后出示故事图片,结合课本中的句型,帮助学生理解cut down, have to, look for 等词组的含义,随后教师板书词组,学生齐读。5.学生四人一组开展活动。分发给每组学生六个剪成条状的语段和六张课本插图,先要求组内学生将语段与相应的插图进行配对。然后播放课文录音,要求组内学生根据录音内容,给语段、插图排序,随后核对答案。6.学生做反馈练习,填空完成短文。然后播放Read a story的录音,学生跟读课文。III.
