    1. Lead in
    By watching the calendar,learn the tw wrds “festival” and “Hallween” and have a discussin abut festivals.
    2. Presentatin and practice f the Cmic
    (1) Watch the cmic and answer questins.
    (2) Learn the expressins f celebrating Hallween.
    (3) Fill in blanks f a shrt article.
    (4) Rle play the cmic.
    3. Presentatin and practice f the Welcme
    (1) Learn tw mre Western festivals thrugh image and audi.
    (2) Start a discussin abut Chinese traditinal festivals. Encurage students t talk and give instructins when necessary.
    (3) Listen t Part B and answer questins.
    (4) Read the dialgue in rles.
    4. Game t cnslidate
    (1) Cmplete sentences with the infrmatin f festivals.
    (2) Try t talk abut the ways peple use t celebrate different festivals.
    5. Output: Talk abut yur favrite festival
    Students wrk in pairs t use tday’s knwledge t make a dialgue by asking and answering the fllwing three questins:
    (1) What is yur favurite festival?
    (2) Why d yu like it?
    (3) What d yu usually d n that day?
    6. Summary
    Ask students t try t cnclude what they have learned tday.
    Hmewrk:
    Find sngs fr yur favrite festivals and finish the exercises.
