【语音】英语句子的基本语调

        英语句子中，有两种基本语调：升调和降调，即句子末尾音调的升或降。升调用“↑”表示，降调用“↓”表示。陈述句、特殊疑问句、部分祈使句及感叹句多用降调朗读。

如：He is a student. ↓

       What do you do? ↓

Look at me. ↓

What a beautiful flower! ↓

         一般疑问句及表示婉转、客气的祈使句多用升调朗读。

如：Do you like apples? ↑

Close the window, please. ↑

         选择疑问句、数数和列举事物的句子，在朗读时语调为前升后降。

如：A man or a woman?

         朗读反意疑问句时，语调为前降后升。

如：You are a boy，↓ aren't you? ↑
