一、词汇讲解

1. on foot 步行

  例如：Jim usually goes to school on foot. 吉姆通常步行去上学。

2. by prep. （介词）（表示方式）乘

       同音词：bye 再见     buy 买

       短语：by car 乘小汽车     by bus 乘公共汽车

例句：I go to school by bus every day. 我每天乘公共汽车上学。

3. must  modal. v.（情态动词）必须

       用法：must为情态动词，后加动词原形，没有人称和数的变化。

【拓展】情态动词还包含should 应该   may 可以   can 能，可以

例句：We must study hard.我们必须努力学习。

二、重难点讲解

1.如何询问对方的出行方式：How do you come(to)+地点？你（们）怎么来···的？

       句型结构：How do you come/go（to）+地点？

答语：I/We + come/go（to）+地点+on foot/by+交通工具.

例如：—How do you come to school? 你怎么来学校的？

—Usually, I come on foot. Sometimes I come by bus.

通常我走路来。有时我乘公共汽车来。

【重点解析】 come/go后接副词（如here、there、home）时，则省略to。回答时，可以根据实际情况加上频率副词always、usually、often、sometimes等。by后直接接交通工具的名词，不加冠词。

2. 如何用must表示必须做某事：某人+must+动词原形（+其它）. ···必须···。

       句型结构  主语+must+动词原形+其他.

【重点解析】 must是情态动词，意思是“必须，一定要”，语气强烈，没有人称、数和时态的变化，后面接动词原形。on bikes等同于by bike。

例如：In the USA, people on bikes must wear one.

在美国，骑自行车的人必须戴（头盔）。

3. 询问“怎么到达某地”

       句型结构：How + can+主语+get (to)+地点？

答语：（1）主语+ can + get (to)+地点+on foot/by十交通工具

（2）（主语+can+）Take+交通工具

例如：—Mr Jones, how can I get to the Fuxing Hospital?琼斯先生，我怎么才能到达复兴医院？

—Take the No. 57 bus over there.乘坐在那边的57路公共汽车。

【重点解析】get to意为“到达”，后面接表示地点的名词。如果后面跟的是表示地点的副词，则把to去掉。两种答语的区别是：“by+交通工具”是介词短语，在句中作状语，“take+交通工具”是动词短语在句中作谓语。
