Or is it a waste of time and money?Step 1 Pre-writing让学生完成活动1，阅读一篇有关太空探索价值的议论文，回答下列问题：         Why are some people against space exploration?         What has space exploration done for food production?         What did the pictures of Earth from space make people realise?         How does space exploration benefit the products that people use nowadays?让学生完成活动2，探究本文的文本结构和语言特点。         Read the first paragraph and underline the different opinions about space exploration.         Find the three topic sentences that summarise the writer’s arguments about space exploration.         Underline the sentence that repeats the writer’s opinion in the last paragraph.引导学生画出文章结构图。 Step 2 While-writing让学生完成活动3中的任务1。首先要求学生识别表达态度和观点的句式，再让他们结合自身的态度模仿写出中心句和分论点（argument），然后让他们按照议论文的结构特点完成初稿。Step 3 Post-writing自改。让学生检查自己所写的文章是否有语法错误。同伴互改。参照活动3中的2提供的清单，让学生给同伴提出修改意见，并按照同伴提出的修改建议对自己的初稿进行修改。作品展示。让学生在组内推选出优秀的文章在课堂上展示或朗读分享。Step 4 HomeworkPolish up your essays based on teacher’s and classmates’ suggestions.备注
