Passage A
Do your parents always go on and on about what you eat, how you eat, when you eat or don’t eat junk food? You probably have heard it: You are what you eat. Well, your parents are right. They want you to eat properly so you’ll be healthy.
Your body needs certain nutrients (营养物) to feel well as you go through each day. The most important meal is breakfast, even though it’s probably the most difficult for many teenagers. Your body needs protein and carbohydrates to keep you healthy. Protein rich foods include (包括) eggs, cheese, fish, chicken, beef, etc. Carbohydrate foods are foods like fruits, vegetables, and beans, etc. You should not eat too much sweet food because it is bad for your teeth and health. Do you know Cristiano Ronaldo? He is one of the best football players in the world though he is 37 years old. Why? He never eats Coca-Cola because it is full of sugar; he just drinks water. He also never eats fried food because it contains(v.含有) lots of fat which would make him fat and unhealthy.
Eating right doesn’t just give you good health. Getting fit and staying fit can also improve many areas of your life.
