Stephen Wamukta, a nine-year-ld frm Mukwa village in Western Kenya, is making the headlines wrldwide fr his creative hand washing machine. The yung by came up with the idea after watching villagers, wh d nt have easy access t running water and struggle t find an effective way t wash their hands t avid catching and spreading COVID-19.
Using the few resurces he culd get—wd, nails(钉子) and a bucket(水桶)—Stephen designed and built a simple but functinal washing statin.
