The cmpetitin was hsted by Junir Achievement f Wiscnsin, a nn-prfit rganizatin. He wn a schlarship f $10, 000 fr his sustainable clthing brand The Mad Patcher.
In the beginning. Salzwedel just wrked with clthes fr fun. He learned his sewing skills at a yung age frm his grandmther. He then started t tear up his ld jeans t try and create cl new designs. The fun hbby quickly turned int a business fr Salzwedel when his friends and classmates started asking him t make custmized clthing fr them.
“S many peple wanted them that I wasn’t ging t make 150 pairs f pants fr free, s that was when 1 had t start making a business ut f it, ” Salzwedel tld the Shebygan Press.
