Giant panda Ya Ya returned hme t Beijing Z early n Mnday after spending 20 years in the United States. Ya Ya will nt be n shw t the public fr the time being as the 23-year-ld panda needs t rest and get used t her new envirnment.

Music can mve peple in many ways. But fr peple with dementia(痴呆症), music can d much mre. Listening t music r singing can help calm peple with dementia and can even help revive sme memries. This is why this unique chir was frmed by Anne Gemmell, a Lurdes Hspital dementia cunselr in Dubb, Australia.
The chir was frmed in July 2022 with just 25 singers but it has grwn t 80 peple. And it is already making a difference fr the participants. “With the Sing Out Chir, we are seeing scial relatinships imprve,” Gemmell tld Dubb Pht News. “The chir is bringing tgether a cmmunity f like-minded peple with similar persnalities and cmmn interests.” Gemmell added that there are many psitive changes in the behavir f the chir members with dementia. “Singing and music fire neurns(神经元)in the brain and we actually see peple cme alive,” Gemmell tld ABC News. “We are seeing language skills imprving with cnversatin and just md changing. The chir was frmed in July 2022 with just 25 singers but it has grwn t 80 peple.
