Often called “the Lady with the Lamp”, Flrence Nightingale was a caring nurse and a leader. She is mstly knwn fr making hspitals a cleaner and safer place t be.
Althugh her parents were frm England, Flrence Nightingale was brn in 1820 in Italy while they were traveling. Grwing up in a wealthy family, Flrence Nightingale was hmeschled by her father and expected t get married at a yung age.
