    Students are generally aware f the cncept f disaster preparedness but may lack practical knwledge and skills. They may als have limited interest in the tpic due t its perceived relevance. Hwever, with prper engagement and mtivatin, they can becme active participants in disaster preparedness effrts.

    1. Intrductin (5 minutes)
    - Briefly intrduce the tpic f disaster preparedness and its relevance in tday's wrld.
    - Ask students if they have ever experienced a natural disaster r witnessed ne happening t thers.
    2. Understanding Disasters (10 minutes)
    - Define disasters and list different types (e.g., earthquake, hurricane, fld).
    - Explain the rle f individuals, cmmunities, and gvernments in disaster preparedness.
    - Use real-life examples t illustrate the imprtance f disaster preparedness.
    3. Identifying Hazards (10 minutes)
    - Cnduct a classrm exercise where students identify ptential hazards in their immediate envirnment (e.g., fire hazards, water leaks).
    - Discuss strategies fr mitigating these hazards (e.g., installing smke detectrs, fixing leaky pipes).
    4. Preparing an Emergency Kit (15 minutes)
    - Intrduce the cncept f emergency kits and their imprtance during a disaster.
    - Discuss what items shuld be included in an emergency kit and hw t create ne (e.g., fd, water, first aid supplies).
    - Assign hmewrk fr students t prepare their wn emergency kits at hme.
    5. Evacuatin Plans (10 minutes)
    - Explain the imprtance f having an evacuatin plan and hw it can save lives during a disaster.
    - Discuss different ways t create an evacuatin plan (e.g., meeting at a designated lcatin, using scial media).
    - Encurage students t practice their evacuatin plan with their families and friends.
    6. Cmmunicatin Skills (5 minutes)
    - Discuss the imprtance f effective cmmunicatin during a disaster situatin (e.g., staying calm, relaying infrmatin).
    - Practice basic cmmunicatin skills with students (e.g., reading bdy language, giving instructins).
