通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

能够运用所学句型介绍自己的朋友。

通过听说训练,感受与同学真挚的友情。

Step 1 Leading in
1. Review the greeting phrases in real situatin.
T: Gd mrning. What’s yur name?
S1: Gd mrning. I am…
S2: My name is…
T: Can yu spell it, please?
S: Yes, x-x-x-x-x.
T: Hw are yu?
S: I am fine, thank yu.
2. Ask students t intrduce themselves t the class.
3. Enjy a sng: Make new friends.
Step 2 Listening and reading
1. Play the recrding and ask the students t pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
2. Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
Lingling: This is Miss Zhu. She’s my teacher. Hell, Miss Zhu.
Miss Zhu: Hell, Lingling.
Lingling: Miss Zhu, this is my friend, Tny.
Miss Zhu: Hell, Tny.
Tny: Hell, Miss Zhu.
Lingling: This is my friend. Her name’s Betty.
Tny: Hell, Betty.
Lingling: This is my friend. His name’s Tny.
Betty: Hell, Tny, nice t meet yu.
Lingling: It’s time t g nw. Gdbye, Tny.
Tny: Bye. See yu tmrrw.
3. Have the students match the sentences in Activity 3 and check their answer with their partner.

Step 3 Language pints
1. This is Miss Zhu. 这是周老师。
(1)这是用来介绍他人的常用句型。当向对方介绍第三者时,常用“This is+姓名.”这一句型,而不能说“She is...”或“He is...”。如果介绍距离较远的人时,用“That is...”句型。
This is my mther. 这是我的妈妈。
(2)当介绍多人时用“These are...”,如果介绍距离较远的多人时,用“Thse are...”句型。
These are my parents and thse are my uncles. 这是我父母,那是我叔叔们。
【注意】this is不能缩写成this’s。
2. Hell, Tny, nice t meet yu. 你好,托尼,见到你很高兴。
“Nice t meet yu.”是双方初次见面时的礼貌用语,也可以用于双方很久未见,偶然相逢的场合。其答语为“Nice t meet yu t.”。
—Hell, Tim. Nice t meet yu. 你好,蒂姆。见到你很高兴。
—Hell, Amy. Nice t meet yu t. 你好,埃米。见到你我也很高兴。
【拓展】meet 动词 遇见;结识
Let’s meet at 9: 00. 让我们9点见面吧。
3. It’s time t g nw. 现在该走了。
“It’s time t d sth.”意为“该做某事了;到做某事的时间了”。它是一个固定句型,有时可以换成“It’s time fr sth.”或“It’s time fr ding sth.”。若表示“某人该做某事了”,应用“It’s time fr sb. t d sth.”。
It’s time t have class.
→It’s time fr (having) class. 该上课了。
It’s time fr her t clean the blackbard. 她该擦黑板了。
4. See yu tmrrw.明天见。
“See yu tmrrw.”是告别用语,常用“See yu+时间.”来告别。回答也用同样方式说或简单说“See yu.”。
—See yu next week. 下周见。
—See yu(next week).(下周)再见。
