Teaching proceduresStep 1 Lead-inT: As we all know, reading newspapers can help us know more about the world. Can you get the important information from the newspaper. Please look at the one I read yesterday and answer two questions. 1) What’s the name of the newspaper?2) What’s the headline(标题) of the news?S: Sunny Daily. What a brave young man!T: You are so clever. When you see the headline, who will you think of? I will think of Superman.S: Batman and Spiderman.【设计意图:让学生了解英语报刊阅读基本方法,并让学生从对标题猜想,引入学生心中的勇敢人物形象,从而激发学生的阅读兴趣,带着猜想和好奇阅读文章。】Step 2 PresentationTask 1 New words1. A man saved an old woman.T: Why is the man brave?S: Because fire is very dangerous.T: Wonderful. Let’s look at the picture and find out how dangerous fire is.T: The building is on fire. Teaching reflectionReading部分教学是本单元的主要部分,单元的主题和重点知识都在此部分呈现,其次阅读能力也是初中生英语学习的重要目标,现我结合本节课的教学反思如下:1. 本节课的背景是报刊阅读,所以在理解全文之前我指导学生报刊阅读的正确方法。2. 本节课讲述了一个男孩把一位老人从火灾中救出的故事,为了让学生详细阅读故事情节,我设计了一个表演活动,帮助学生对故事情节深刻理解。3. 关于用火安全知识以及逃生常识也是本节课教师应该给学生传递的,所以我尝试了抓住文中的细节,对学生进行有效的追问——你可以给林涛和老妇人分别提出建议吗?依靠这样的情境,帮助学生了解有关用火安全的知识。4. 文章的复述是有必要的,同样创设什么样的情境也是激发学生兴趣的关键,我采用的方法是以排序图片的形式来完成这样的任务,效果不错,复述同时,还给学生脑中留下很多的画面。5. 升华主题,一节课中教师应该从文本中挖掘有利于树立正确人生观和价值观的素材,通过细节阅读和体会,揭示主题。本节课主题我设定为——水火无情,人间有爱。既强调火灾的危险,又突出人在灾难出显真情的正能量。WhoLin Tao and Mrs SunWhenOn 10 MayWhereIn Mrs Sun’s kitchenWhatLin Tao saved Mrs Sun from the fire
