本课时是该单元的第二个课时，是一个阅读板块。
【why】
阅读材料是关于电影喜好的。
【hw】
3a要求学生阅读文章，画出不同种类的电影并圈出电影的名字。活动3b要求学生根据课文内容回答问题，主要引导学生关注文章的细节。活动3c不同心境时喜欢的电影类型并举例，然后填写表格，为Sectin b 的学习提供信息储备。
学情分析：
自然情况
到了九年级，学生已经积累了大量的阅读经验，相信学生对这篇简短的文章不会有太大的理解障碍。
（二）已有基础
学生们对本节课的学习会有较高的兴趣，加之学习内容难度不大，学生有较强的表达欲望和诉求，参与活动的积极性和学习的高效性也相应的提高了。
（三）存在问题
学生的阅读能力存在差异。
（四）解决措施
老师要重点关注学习中下等的学生。
教学目标：
通过本课学习，学生能够：
学生能学会本节课重点单词：stick t ,dwn , dialg /diaglgue,ending ,drama ,plenty f , shut ff , superher , nce in a while 。 （学习理解）
学生能通过阅读任务获得阅读信息，从而理解整篇文章。 （应用实践）

教学重难点
重点： 学会用that , which 和wh引导的定语从句完善地表达自己对音乐和电影等的喜好。
难点：理解定语从句于先行词之间的修饰关系，运用开放性语言和同伴进行交流。
