3.辨析:jin jin in take part in attend
jin (1)指加入某个党派,团体组织等,成为其成员之一,意为:“参军、入团、入党”等。

和某人一道做某事,其结构为:jin sb. in (ding) sth.

jin in多指参加小规模的活动如“球赛、游戏”等,常用于日常口语。

attend是正式用语,及物动词,指参加会议,婚礼,葬礼,典礼;去上课,上学,听报告等。句子的主语只是去听,去看,自己不一定起积极作用。如:

辨析: nise , vice, sund
(1) nise意为“噪声”,指不悦耳的噪声等,可以用a, sme, much等词修饰。
(2) vice意为“声音”,多指人的说话声、歌声和笑声等。
(3) sund可以指听到的自然界的一切声音。

情态动词 must,might,culd 和can/can’t表示推测
可能性:must> can/culd> may/might
1.must 表示推测时,表示有很大的可能性,意为“一定;肯定”,通常只用于肯定句中。
◆ This dictinary must be Tm's. It has his name n it.这本字典肯定是汤姆的,上面有他的名字。
2.might 表示推测时,意为“可能;也许”,语气不太肯定,没有时态的区别,与may 用法一样,只是might 比 may语气更弱,且表示推测的可能性更小。might 常用于肯定句和否定句中,不用于疑问句中,might nt 意为“可能不”。
在否定句中,语气不太肯,定的推测用 might/may nt,语气肯定的推测用can't。
