Period 2 (Section A 2d-3c)设计说明本课时是在第一课时的基础上,进一步学习和讨论将来的理想和打算,以及如何实现个人理想,并归纳总结be going to 结构的各种句式。本课时将通过听说对话、角色扮演、小组讨论总结、仿写完成对话、小组调查等活动达到教学目标。教学目标1. 知识目标:(1)掌握单词和短语:college,education,medicine,university,London,article,send,be sure about,make sure。(2)掌握句式:“What do you want to be when you grow up?” “How are you going to do that?” “Where are you going to work?” “When are you going to start?”2. 能力目标:(1)总结并掌握“be going to+动词原形”的句式结构。(2)能够熟练运用一般将来时态的句子表达自己的打算。3. 情感目标:通过学习本课时的内容来激发学生的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。重点难点1. 重点:掌握本课时的重点短语和结构:want to do sth. ,be going to do sth. ,be good at,keep on doing sth. ,be sure about,make sure,try one’s best,send...to...2. 难点:用be going to结构表达自己的打算和做法。教学准备有关职业的多媒体课件、录音机和磁带、调查表。教学过程Step 1 Warming up & Leading in1. Game:Give some riddles on jobs to the students. Students try to guess the jobs. (1)People come to see me when they are sick. I can help to make them feel better. (2)I act in different movies. (3)I like sports and I practice basketball every day. (4)I wear a uniform and I work to make our city a safe place. (5)I work in hotels and I can cook delicious food for people. Step 2 Role-playing the conversation (2d)1. Read the conversation and answer the three questions:(1)What does Ken want to be? He wants to be a writer. (2)How is he going to do that? He’s going to keep on writing stories. (3)What does Andy want to be? His parents want him to be a doctor,but he’s not sure about that. 2. Let students listen to the conversation and find the following phrases. Make sure the students understand them by checking Learning Task 1. (1)be good at 擅长(2)write stories 写故事(3)keep on doing sth. 不断地做某事 (4)be sure about 对……有把握,确信(5)make sure 确保,查明(6)try one’s best 尽某人最大努力(7)send...to...把……寄给……3. Let students read the conversation again,and check Learning Task 2 by themselves. Then get some students to read the answers aloud. (1)The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. by意为 “由……所著”,如a short story by Lu Xun(鲁迅写的一部短篇小说)。(2)be sure about意为 “确信;对……有把握”,与be sure of 同义。(3)make sure意为 “确保”。(4)try one’s best意为 “尽某人最大努力”。try one’s best to do sth. 意为“尽某人最大努力做某事”。5. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs act out the conversation. Step 3 Grammar Focusbe going to结构的用法1. 含义:表示将要发生的事,或打算、计划、决定要做的事。如:I’m going to be a teacher when I grow up. 长大后我打算当一名老师。They’re going to play volleyball next week. 他们打算下周打排球。注意:句中be动词用am,is还是are,取决于主语。2. 肯定句:主语+be going to+动词原形+其他. 如:I am going to play football next Sunday. 我打算下周日去踢足球。He is going to teach in Beijing next year. 他打算明年去北京教学。They’re going to meet at the school gate. 他们打算在校门口见面。3. 否定句:主语+be not going to+动词原形+其他. 如:We’re not going to have a picnic next week. 下周我们不打算去野餐。He isn’t going to see his brother tomorrow. 他明天不打算去看他哥哥。4. 一般疑问句:Be+主语+going to +动词原形+其他? 如:—Are you going to be a doctor in the future? 你打算将来当医生吗? —Yes,I am. (肯定回答)/No,I’m not. (否定回答)是的,我打算。/不,我不打算。—Is your sister going to bring you lunch? 你妹妹打算给你带午饭吗? —Yes,she is. /No,she isn’t. 是的,她打算。/不,她不打算。Step 4 ExercisesⅠ. 用所给单词的适当形式填空。1.
