Period 3 (Section B 1a-1e)设计说明本节课为听说课。主要通过问句“What are you going to do next year?”引出话题:来年的打算。一开始运用“头脑风暴”形式复习所学过的有关职业的词汇,然后通过图片提示让学生谈论一下他们未来的理想职业以及如何去做。通过师生问答,引出新年决心;通过图片展示新短语,让学生小组问答,以巩固掌握这些短语;通过听力练习,完成1c、1d部分;通过小组调查活动,了解同学们的新年计划,完成该课时的教学目标。教学目标1. 知识目标:(1)掌握单词和短语:resolution,team,foreign,make the soccer team。(2)掌握句式:“—What are you going to do next year? —Well,I’m going to take guitar lessons.” “—How are you going to do that? —Well,I’m going to study hard and get good grades.”。2. 能力目标:让学生掌握以上句式,并能用英语谈论、描述自己或他人的新年计划和决心。3. 情感目标:通过谈论自己的新年计划激励自己努力学习。重点难点1. 重点:(1)掌握本课时出现的生词及句式。(2)进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。2. 难点:学习运用一般将来时描绘自己的人生理想和为之奋斗的计划;尝试各种计划的表达。教学准备多媒体课件、录音机和磁带、调查表格。教学过程Step 1 Revision & Warming up1. Check the homework. 2. Say the words of jobs(teacher,nurse,doctor,actor,actress,runner,basketball player,pilot,waiter,computer programmer,pianist,scientist,violinist...). Ask students to work in groups and write as many words as they can(in five minutes). 3. Talk about their dream jobs and how to do that. (Show the pictures of a pilot,a computer programmer,a doctor,a teacher,a singer and an engineer. )For example:I want to be an engineer. I’m going to study math really hard. Step 2 Presentation1. Practice like this:T:New Year is coming. Let’s make New Year’s resolutions. I’m going to eat healthier food. What are you going to do next year? Match the pictures with the New Year’s resolutions. Number the pictures [1-5].
