2.T give a brief selfintrductin cncerning name,age and hmetwn.

Learn t intrduce yurself t yur friends in the right way.
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1.The teacher shw the PPT and play a shrt flash,the students enjy the sng.
2.Play a guessing game “Brainstrm” by asking the students “What’s it?”Then shw the useful sentences by intrducing myself.
3.Ask the students t intrduce themselves in grups by using these sentences:What’s yur name?Where are yu frm?Hw ld are yu?Which class are yu in?Nice t meet yu.
Step 2 Listening
1.Play the recrding in activity 1 and ask the students t listen and check hw many peple speak.
2.Play it again and ask the students t check the wrds they hear.
3.Check the answers with the whle students.
Step 3 Listen and read
1.Play the recrding in Activity 3 and ask the students t listen and answer the questins.Then check the answers.
(1)Hw many peple speak in the cnversatin?
(2)Wh are they?
(3)Are they in the same class?
2.Play it again and check the true sentences in Activity 3.Ask sme students t crrect the wrng nes.
3.Put the students int grups f fur t Practice the dialgue.The students repeat it several times,changing rles each time.Talk abut the pictures in the PPT and shw their perfrmances.Ask the students t sum up the useful sentences in the dialgue and intrduce “Everyday English.”Finish Activities 4 and 5 in grups.Teacher checks the answers.
Step 4 Prnunciatin
1.Explain that this activity fcuses n sme English phnemes which are difficult t prnunce fr speakers f Chinese.
2.Play the recrding nce withut stpping.
3.Play it again and ask the students t repeat.
4.Practice the sunds in pairs,then finish the exercises n the PPT.
Step 5 Speaking
Talk abut the pictures by asking and answering in pairs like this:
