Wh 引导的特殊疑问句
语法结构
1.This is my sister. (教材P7)这是我的姐姐。
[解读] This is...是一个陈述句，用来介绍他人或物品。this指距离说话人较近的人或物。当第三方给双方作介绍时，通常用“This is+姓名”。
—Mum, this is my friend, Li Lei. —Li Lei, this is my mum.
—妈妈，这是我的朋友，李磊。 —李磊，这是我妈妈。
注意英语里面介绍他人，一般不说“She is...”或“He is...”
拓展(1)自我介绍，常用My name is...或I’m...句型。
Hell! My name is Gina.
你好! 我叫吉娜。
(2)指示代词this和that都还可用于打电话时介绍自己，This is...意为“我是……”，that可用来指代“你”。
—What’s that? 你是哪位?
—This is Mike speaking. 我是迈克。
注意that is的缩写形式是that’s,而this is不能缩写。

[解读] family名词,意为“家;家庭”,复数形式为families。family是一个集体名词,作主语时,如果指整体,就作单数对待,谓语动词用单数形式;如果指家庭成员,就作复数对待,谓语动词要用复数形式。

His family are all well. 他的家人都很健康。

[解读1] thse是指示代词,意思是“那些”,是that的复数形式。“Thse are...”句型用来介绍两者或两者以上的人或物,意为“那(些)是……(指离说话人较远的人事物)”。
Thse are her sisters.那些是她的姐妹们。
Thse are my pencils.那些是我的铅笔。
[解读2] parents是parent的复数形式,表示父母双亲。parent表示父母双亲中的一员,即father或mther。
This is a single parent family.
这是一个单亲家庭。
拓展类似的词还有grandparent,意为“祖父(母);外祖父(母)”;grandparents意为“祖父母;外祖父母”。
They are Jack’s grandparents.
他们是杰克的(外)祖父母。
4.Oh,and these are my brthers.(教材P7)哦,这些是我的兄弟们。
[解读1] “These are...”句型意为“这(些)是……”,用来介绍离说话人较近的两者或两者以上的人或物。
These are his pencils.
这些是他的铅笔。
These are blue shrts.
这是些蓝色的短裤。
[解读2] brthers意为“兄弟们”,是brther的复数形式。brther意为“兄”或“弟”。
注意英语有些称呼词不如汉语的意思明确,应视具体情况而定。类似的单词还有sister “姐;妹”, aunt“姑(姨、伯、婶、舅)母”, uncle“舅(叔、伯、姑)父;姨夫”等。
Bill is my father’s brther. He’s my uncle.
比尔是我父亲的兄弟,他是我的叔叔(伯父)。
Linda is my aunt’s daughter. She’s my cusin.
琳达是我姨母的女儿。她是我的表姐(妹)。

[解读1] 这是Are 和Are 一般疑问句的肯定回答,其对应的否定回答为N, they aren’t。
—Are these yur brthers?这些是你的兄弟们吗?
—Yes, they are.是的,是我的兄弟们。(肯定回答)
—N, they aren’t.不是,不是我的兄弟们。(否定回答)
注意回答一般疑问句的肯定回答中的they are不可以缩写为they’re。
[解读2] they为代词,意为“他(她、它)们”,人称代词主格,第三人称复数形式,一般在句中作主语。

他们是我的好朋友。

6.Wh’s she?(教材P9)她是谁?
[解读1] 这是一个由疑问代词wh引导的特殊疑问句,其中的wh’s是wh is的缩写形式。
Wh is that girl?=Wh’s that girl?那个姑娘是谁?
[解读2] wh为疑问代词,意为“谁”,通常用在特殊疑问句句首。

Wh的意思是“谁”，询问姓名或和某人的关系等。所问的人的数量是单数时，系动词用is；所问的人的数量是复数时，系动词用are。
例如：—Wh’s he? —He is Jhn.(问姓名)
—他是谁？—他是约翰。
—Wh’re they? —They’re my grandparents.(问关系)
他们是谁？他们是我的爷爷奶奶。
当用wh提问，不知道是谁和人的数量时，问句的谓语动词常用单数形式。例如：
