本单元已经基本结束，学生无论是对用析使句表达食物制作过程和可数和不可数名词的运用还是相关的话题都有了一定的了解和掌握，并且能够初步运用。八年级的学生，具备了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力，语言感知能力比较强，无论是对结构、功能还是话题都有了一定的了解和掌握，并且能够初步运用，有了一定的写作“支架”。这为接下来的写作和复习教学活动打下了良好的基础。但该班学生写作底子薄，基础差，在本节课中，写作任务对学生来说难度还是很大，就是在细节方面还有出错的地方，假以必要的练习，才能达到较好的效果。

本课是一节写作及总结复习课，3a-3c是写作板块，包括三个活动，是综合性的写作训练板块，内容环环相扣，要求层层递进。对学生的语言运用提出了更高的要求。首先通过图文引导学生回忆本单元所学的主要内容，继而用所学的词汇以及目标语言写最喜欢的中国或者国外传统食物的制作过程;最后是关于可数和不可数名词的相关巩固性练习。 首先通过3a的语篇填空激发学生的兴趣并提供写作范文，然后3b通过完成表格的形式引导学生整理和完善写作信息，最后3c让学生独立完成写作任务,体现了写作活动的形成性。Self Check的练习帮助学生了解自己对本单元语言目标的达成情况。既是对本单元重要语言结构与功能的总结与梳理，也是对本单元重点内容的练习。复现了整个单元的目标语言。本课是本单元的最后一个课时，在整个单元中起着话题的总结、系统复习和提升的作用。因此课堂任务应侧重培养学生的语言输出能力将写作作为最后的输出，是对本单元的学习情况的一种终结性评价。
