(1) prepare 动词,意为 “准备”,强调准备的动作与过程。名词形式为:preparatin。当不及物动词时,常见搭配:prepare fr sth. 意为“为……作准备”。(重点)(2) prepare也可以作及物动词,其用法如下:

(1)until在本句中作介词,其用法有:①与延续性动词连用,表示动作或状态一直持续到某时为止。②与短暂性动词连用,常用于否定句,与nt构成nt … until结构,表示“直到……才”。

我昨晚一直看电视直到11点。
eg:I didn’t g t sleep until 11 ’clck last night.
我昨晚直到11点才去睡觉。
(2)until作连词,后加完整句子。表示动作、状态一直延续到另一动作或状态出现。eg:They try again and again until they succeed. eg:We have t wait until the light turns green.

(1)catch作动词,意为抓住,赶得上。过去式为caught。eg:Be quick, r we’ll fail t catch the schl bus.eg: Can yu catch the ball in ne hand?(2)catch还可意为“感染上”。catch a cld意为“患感冒”。(3)catch的相关短语: catch up with 跟上,赶上;

“What’s tday?”用来询问今天是星期几,几号。回答时通常用星期和日期,也可用节日。— What’s tday? — It’s Mnday the 1st.
拓展延伸:①“What’s the date tday?”用来询问具体日期。回答时要用日期。— What’s the date tday? — It’s May 1st. ②“What day is it tday?” 用来询问今天是星期几。— What day is it tday? — It’s Tuesday.

withut 作介词,后接名词、代词或动名词作宾语,用来表示伴随或假设的情况。反义词为with“具有;带有”。

s that+从句:“为的是,以便···”,引导目的状语从句。
Eg:Please speak mre slwly s that we can fllw yu better. 请再慢点儿说,以便我们能更好地跟上你说的。
s+adj/adv+that+从句:“如此,以至于·”,引导结果状语从句。
Eg:He spke s clearly that we fllwed him well. 他讲话如此之清晰以至于我们都能很好地跟上他。

情态动词有:may/might, can/culd, must, have t, shall/shuld, will/wuld, need等。
①不能独立作谓语,只能和动词原形一起构成谓语 ②没有人称和数的变化。 (have t除外)③否定形式:在其之后加nt (have t除外)。④疑问形式:情态动词提到主语之前 (have t 除外)。
情态动词can除了表示能力、许可和猜测之外,还可以表示邀请。表示邀请时,culd比can更礼貌、更委婉。
can表示邀请时常用一般疑问句句式,结构为: Can + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
对于用情态动词can发出的邀请,回答时主要有两种情况:接受:① Sure / Yes, I’d lve (like) t. 当然,我愿意。 ② That sunds great! ③ Thanks fr asking/yur invitatin. ……拒绝:① Srry, I’m nt available/free. ② Srry. I can’t. I have t … ③ I’d lve t, but I must … ④ I’m afraid nt,I might have
have t的意思是“必须、不得不”强调由于客观原因而必须做某事。性质如下:
①have t 后接动词原形;
②have t有人称、数和时态的变化;
③第三人称单数形式为has t,过去式是had t;
④疑问形式和否定形式要借助于助动词d, des或did
