The passage mainly intrduces tw living legends f athletes at hme and abrad, Lang Ping and Michael Jrdan. It includes sme statements and detailed examples abut the tw legends. This lessn fcuses n the discurse analysis f its rganizatin and features. Thrugh the questins, the students are guided t srt ut why Lang Ping and Michael Jrdan are masters and what rle mdels they set. On this basis, the students are allwed t use the language they have learned t intrduce the legends in their wn heart and be aware that gd qualities matter t success as well as capability.

VII. Reflectin
新课程理念之下,阅读课应该不仅仅关注学生的阅读内容,更要关注学生阅读策略的培养,以及读中、读后的思与言。因此,在本次教学设计中,学生在教师的引导下去关注文中的有效信息,读取隐藏信息,寻找信息沟,同时补充适当的背景信息,帮助学生填补这个信息沟,并且在这个过程中,引导学生关注语言这个媒介,引导学生分析语言的特点,为学生的写做好铺垫。同时,在理解的基础上,教师引导学生进一步思考,通过推断、分析、对比、综合锻炼学生的思维能力,最终通过模仿写作这种语言输出形式引导学生对课文的语言进行运用、基于原文话题进行创造,在这个过程考察锻炼学生的综合能力。
不足:引导学生根据文中信息推断出两个运动员的品质这个部分是本节课的中心思想呈现,文章内容学生能读懂,但由于学生有限的词汇量难以表达,结果上课效果不算理想,费时有点多,导致后面时间紧张。
