“I get excited every time I lk up at the sky because I knw we have a space hme up there, which was built by ur Chinese astrnauts,” said Liu. When she shared China’s manned space prgram achievements (成就), her wn stries heartened many students wh lve aerspace.
With the launch(发射)f China’s Shenzhu-9 spaceship in June 2012, Liu became the first Chinese female astrnaut in space, spending 13 days there. In June 2022, she re-entered space 10 years later in China’s Shenzhu-14 spaceship and cmpleted many tasks, such as building the space statin’s T-shape structure with ther crew members during their six-mnth missin.
