It is nt always easy t understand animal behavir, especially when it’s related t ther species (物种). Fr decades, researchers have bserved rca (虎鲸) attacking and even killing prpises (鼠海豚) in the Pacific Nrthwest. But it cnfuses peple that these expert hunters dn’t eat them. S what’s ging n here?
Suthern Resident rcas are a different ppulatin f rcas that live in the Pacific Nrthwest. The lives f these rcas are clsely tied t thse f the salmn (鲑鱼). S we must cnclude that their interactins with prpises serve a different purpse, but this purpse has nly been a guess until nw.”
Accrding t Giles and her clleagues’wrk, the rca may be attacking the prpise as a frm f scial play. A. T find ut a way t prtect prpises.
    B. T make sure the reasn why sme rcas attack salmns.
    C. T slve the prblem f marine mammals’ living envirnment.
    D. T better understand the strange behavir f Suthern Resident rcas.

    A. Prpises.B. Marine mammals.C. Salmns.D. Whales.
    34. Accrding t Giles’research, which maybe a reasn fr the rcas’attacking prpises?
    A. It’s a kind f scial play with prpises.
    B. It is a practice t kill prpises as their fd.
    C. The rcas may dislike the smaller prpises.
    D. It’s a way fr the rcas t practice their hunting skills.
    35. What’s the writer’s attitude t the research?
    A. Psitive.B. ObjectiveC. Dubtful.D. Uncertain.
