    Grwing up in Canterbury, Scartzzi recalls swimming in rivers as part f her childhd. It invlves feeding plluted water int a system husing micrbes (微生物) that eat r break up the pllutants.
    The “engineered” nature f the technlgy, Scartzzi explains, means it’s adaptable fr different envirnment cnditins. Each system can be persnalized with its wn unique “sup” f micrbes t remve the pllutants in any waterway where it is installed (安装).
    Other advantages f the technlgy, she says, are that it can prcess water relatively quickly and that it can be used t treat waterways in a variety f sizes and lcatins.
