    When I landed a feature assignment fr Natinal Gegraphic abut urban wildlife in the United States, I was excited. There was just ne prblem: I had t figure ut hw t phtgraph wild animals n the mve at night.

    The finding was regarded as a ptential “landmark” in the fight against the still little-understd cnditin, which the Wrld Health Organizatin estimates affect 1 in 10 peple wh get COVID-19. The study said it was the first randmized, placeb-cntrlled phase 3 trial —cnsidered the gld standard in research—t shw that taking a drug can prevent pst-COVID. It tested a drug called metfrmin (二甲双胍),which was riginally develped frm the French lilac flwer, and has been the mst cmmn medicine used t treat type 2 diabetes acrss the wrld fr decades.
