New Zealand’s gvernment released its first-ever climate adaptatin plan which includes the pssibility f mving sme cmmunities t higher grund. But the six-year plan, which runs nearly 200 pages, is shrt f sme imprtant details, including hw much the changes will cst and wh will pay.
Climate Change Minister James Shaw said that abut 70,000 castal hmes in New Zealand were at risk frm rising seas, and many mre inland hmes were at risk frm flding rivers. He said New Zealand had been slw t adapt t climate change, which wuld end up csting mre mney ver time. “I am frustrated that fr the last three decades, successive gvernments have nt paid any attentin in any real frm t the challenges that we face frm the effects f climate change,” Shaw said.

Scientists are taking the study f archaelgy (考古学) t a whle ther dimensin: space. Fr the first time, researchers are examining the ways humans live n the Internatinal Space Statin (ISS), mre specifically hw they live culturally and materially, since it began rbital peratins in 2000.
