Gd evening, everyne. Tday is Sunday, May 7. I’m yur ld friend Henry Brwn. Nw let’s learn abut a whale trapped in an illegal fishing net yesterday. The whale was sptted by a ship. A diver n the ship dived int the sea t help. He discvered the whale cmpletely trapped in the red fishnet s she culd nt even pen her muth. After initial attempts t cut the net frm a bat failed, sme divers frm tw diving centres jined the effrt. Fr the first ten secnds the whale gt a bit nervus, but then she knew the divers were there t help her and she just relaxed. The rescuers started wrking frm the frnt f her muth backwards. They kept cutting and cutting. Finally, the whale struggled a while and then set herself free. But she didn’t leave immediately. She stayed fr a bit t regain her strength in the cmpany f the divers. Then befre she left, she even gave what lked like a little thank-yu sign. That’s all fr tnight’s prgram. Thank yu fr yur listening.
