    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin①
    1.Greetings.
    2.Chant tgether. (课件出示:教材P5 Let’s chant的音频)
    3.Revisin.
    Students practice the dialgue f “Let’s talk” n page 7.
    S1: Mr / Mrs…, this is… He’s/She’s a new student.
    T: Hi, …
    S2: Hi, Mr / Mrs…
    T: Where are yu frm?
    S2: I’m frm…

    T: OK, everyne. In the next study, there will still be a cmpetitin between bys and girls. Are yu ready?
    Ss: Yes!
    Step 2: Presentatin
    1.Let’s guess.
    Shw a picture f Amy and her face is cvered n the PPT. Let students lk and guess. Is the persn a by r a girl? (出示课件)Ss: A girl.
    T: Wh is she?
    Ss: She is Amy.
    T: Where is she frm?
    Ss: She is frm the UK.

    看图说话,让学生根据图片内容,用已学知识描述图片,激活已有的知识储备。并用一组对比鲜明的照片区分“student” 和“pupil”,让学生一目了然,迅速掌握新知识。
    Use the same methd t lead in “he” and “teacher” by using Mike’s and Mr Jnes’s pictures.
    2.Lk and say.②
    Shw the pictures f Amy, Zhang Peng, Sarah, Wu Binbin…n the PPT. (出示课件) Lead students t intrduce them by using what they have learned befre. Fr examples:
    Amy: This is Amy. She is a girl. She is a student.
    Mr Jnes: This is Mr Jnes. He is a teacher.
    3.Learn the wrd “pupil”.
    T: We knw Amy is a student. We can als say that Amy is a pupil. And what is the difference? Let’s have a lk!
    Shw tw pictures n the PPT. (出示课件)
    The first picture cntains a pupil, a middle schl student, a high schl student and a cllege student. The secnd picture cntains a pupil.

    通过问题引导学生观察并讨论图片,借助图片预测教学内容,培养学生的观察能力和逻辑推理能力。通过视频帮助学生清楚地理解对话。
    Then students practice the sentences “I’m/He’s/She’s a pupil.”
    4.Lk and predict.③
    Shw the picture f “Let’s learn”. (出示课件) Let students lk at the picture carefully. Ask sme questins t lead them t predict the main idea f the dialgue.
    Shw the questins n the PPT.
    5.Watch and answer.

    跟随视频原音朗读,培养学生良好的语感。角色扮演提高学生运用语言的代入感。
    Let students watch the vide. (出示课件) Ask students t pay attentin t the wrds and the sentences, then answer the questins.
    S1: Wu Binbin is drawing Amy.
    S2: Sarah is drawing Mr Jnes.

    (1) Let students read after the recrding and pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin.(出示课件)
    (2) Students practice the dialgue in grups.

    The teacher pints t the apples and leads students t read them ne by ne.
    Play a game: What is missing?
    The apples drp frm the tree ne by ne. Students say the wrd as quickly as pssible.

    Step 4: Cnslidatin & Extensin

    Let students make their wn dialgues t intrduce their partners. Ask students t practice the dialgues in pairs, then intrduce their partners t the class.
    S1: This is… He is a…
    S2: This is… She is a…
    2.Let’s chant.
    (1) Watch and mark.⑦
    Let students watch the vide f “Let’s chant”. (出示课件) Then students read their bks carefully. Mark the characters with “he” r “she”, then check the answers.
    Teaching purpse⑦
    通过引导学生观看动画,给人物做上标记,加深学生对“he”, “she”的理解。在理解歌谣的基础上,引导学生通过听音寻找句子相同的韵脚,培养学生的辨音能力。

    Ss: Sarah, Chen Jie, Miss White and Amy.
    T: And wh belngs t team “he”?
    Ss: Wu Binbin, Mike, Jhn and Zhang Peng.

    (2)Let’s chant.
    The teacher plays the recrding. (出示课件) Students read after it. Then they clap their hands and chant tgether.
    T: Well, can yu find the same things?
    Ss: … (They can say it in Chinese.)
    T: Yes, yu’re right. (Shw the chant n the PPT.) The first, secnd, third and fifth line have the same rhyme.
    Shw time.
    Students clap their hands and chant in grups. Then act it ut in class.
    T: Ww, yu see. Bys/Girls are the winners tday! Let’s clap fr them!
