本节课是本册教材的第四单元第二课时。从教材的整体来看，单元话题是谈论家庭的布置、陈设和各个功能房间以及家庭成员的日常活动。。从内容上看主要是围绕“我的家”以及“家中的各个房间”、“房间里的不同陈设”这三部分话题展开。学生通过学习能够听懂、会说、会认读：living rm ，kitchen ，bathrm ，Study ，bedrm。能够按照教学图片提示，按要求说出句子：where is…？ Is she in 并能够根据实际情况作出适当回答。这部分的内容为表达某处有某物的句型学习作了很好的铺垫。教学重点是学习家中的各个房间的名称以及不同房间的不同陈设和房间的不同功能，并能够利用where is/are..，？和 She is in the…以及询问的一般疑问句进行简单的问答练习。
教学目标及要求
1. 学习家中各个房间名称的单词以及Where is she？Is she in the study? Yes，she is. / N，she isn’t. 询问“在哪里”的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句以及肯定和否定回答。
2. 通过对Let’s d 的学习，让学生能听指令做动作。
3. 能在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流。
教学重点
1. 掌握家里各个房间的名称。
2. 掌握对一般疑问句的肯定和否定回答 。
教学难点
1. 一般疑问句的问答。
2. 用英语准确表达一些房间的名称：kitchen ，study ，living rm ，bathrm 等 。
教学准备
多媒体课件，房间图片若干张等。
教学步骤
Step 1 lead in
1. 教师利用课件展示图片，导入课题my hme.
教师为学生介绍自已新家的各个房间，学生倾听并了解其中内容。 (让学生倾听，感受语言，对本课学习内容有初步感知，为新课作好铺垫)
Step 2 Presentatin & Practice
1. 学习 Let’s learn
Amy’s hme
（1）利用课件出示图片，让学生观察图片上的六个房间，并提问：What is it？
(2)让学生看图片并尝试回答出房间名称：bedrm，bathrm，living rm，Study， kitchen ,同时教师带领学生一起提炼出动词短语watch TV ，read a bk ，have a snack ，have a nap ， take a shwer。引入并操练G t the living rm, Watch TV.

(3)教师通过教学图片展示Amy的每个房间，让学生看图并问：Where is Amy？Is she Yes,she is. /N,she isn' t.

通过跟读操练句子，通过视频学习表演做动作。
