Fr the Chinese peple, ne f the mst wnderful cultural events staying in their memries is prbably the “24 Slar Terms” (24节气) added t the list f Wrld Intangible Cultural Heritage. What are the 24 Slar Terms?
The 24 Slar Terms are part f the traditinal Chinese calendar. It was riginated alng the Yellw River even befre the Qin Dynasty (221—207BC), and was almst settled dwn in the Han Dynasty (202BC—220).
It is als knwn as the “fifth great inventin” f China, cming after paper-making, printing, gunpwder and cmpass.
