    Teaching prcedures:
    Step1. Greetings and warming up
    1). Teacher greets students and talks abut the weather with them.
    2). Listen t a sng and learn t sing it.
    Step2. Review wrds fr family members the students have learned.
    1). Divide the students int six grups.
    2).Students cmpete t brainstrm wrds fr family members they have learned and spell them.
    Step3. Presentatin
    1). Listen and check the wrds they hear. Finish1b.
    2). Listen again, and chse the picture JiangTa and Tm are talking abut.
    3). Lk at the tw nice phts f Jenny’s family. Talk abut wh they are.
    Step 4. Cnslidatin
    1). Students read abut the passage and circle the names.
    2). Students listen and read the passage sentence by sentence after the tape.
    3). Students read the passage tgether.
    4). Pair-wrk: Students read in pairs. Then sme sudents stand and read fr the class.
    5). The teacher explain the key pints in the passage.
    6). Ask students t retell the passage with the help f sme infrmatin n the bard.
    Step 6. Practice
    1). Grup-wrk: Ask students t make a family tree abut Jenny’s family.
    2). Ask several students t intrduce Jenny’s family members accrding t the family tree.
    Step 7. Watch a shrt film frm CCTV.
    Step 8. Hmewrk:
    1).Draw a picture f yur family and friends. Tell yur partner abut yur picture.
    2).Find the male and female first names in this unit and write them.
