    一、教材分析
    本单元以“Can yu cme t my party?”为中心话题,围绕“发出,接受,拒绝邀请”展开,学习礼貌用语的表达和人际交往的基本常识,以及谈论自己和别人的义务和责任。同时,通过对本单元的学习,学生可以了解西方的社会礼仪文化,学习一些有关人际交往的艺术等。
    二、学情分析
    本单元内容与实际生活息息相关,是学生感兴趣的话题,是对情态动词can引导的一般疑问句的进一步学习,又是对本册Unit 6和Unit 7所学的现在进行时的另一种用法,即用现在进行时表将来的学习,用此结构来谈论已有的计划或安排。
    三、教学目标:
    1. Knwledge aims:
    1) the Ss can use the fllwing wrds and phrases:
    prepare, prepare fr, exam, flu, available, anther time, until, hang, hang ut, catch, invite, accept, refuse
    2) the Ss will be able t make/ accept/ refuse an invitatin with the fllwing sentence pattern:
    ① —Can yu cme t my party n Saturday afternn?
    —Sure, I’d lve t. \Srry, I can’t. I have t ...\I’m srry, t. I must …
    ② —That’s t bad.
    ③ —Maybe anther time.
    ----Thanks fr asking.
    3) the Ss will be able t use such mdal verbs like can, may, must and semi-mdal verbs like have t
    2.Skill aims:
    The Ss will imprve their listening and speaking.

    The Ss will be able t knw hw t make/ accept/refuse an invitatin in a plite way.

    Step 1. Leading in
    Play a shrt vide frm a TV series Big Bang t get t knw hw t invite smebdy t a party. Then let the Ss try t retell the scene.
    Step 2 Presentatin
    1: Shw pictures and learn the phrases in 1a. (guess, read and recite)
    T: Lk at the pictures and ask students t tell what they see.
    2: Match the wrds with the pictures and check the answers.
    3: Play the recrder. Ask students t cmplete the activity individually.
    T: listen t the recrder. Write the name f each persn next t his r her picture.
    Step 3 Practice
    1. Read the cnversatin tgether.
    2. Give an example: T: Can yu cme t my party?
    Ask sme students t answer. Ask the students wh can’t cme t tell the reasns.

    3. Ask sme grups t act. (shw the key wrds n the PPT)
