T: Hell, bys and girls. Last class we talked abut different cuntries and we’ve gt t knw that Eddie’s favurite hme is the ne next t the biggest restaurant. Tday, let’s g n t talk abut different hmes arund the wrld.

Step 2 Wrd study
1. Shw pictures and learn the new wrds.
T: When we talk abut hmes, we ften think f the wrd “huse”. Sme peple live in huses. But many ther peple, especially in the crwded city, live in such buildings. We call it “flat”.
T: We can ften see buildings with many flats in the centre f city r twn.
T: Usually we can see huses arund the city centre r even far away frm the city, maybe “miles” away frm the city centre. 10 miles equals abut 16 kilmetres. Sme peple live in such big huses miles frm the city centre. If they are lucky enugh, they may even live near the beach and the sea. It must be wnderful!
2. Learn different parts f a hme.
Fllw a butterfly t different parts f a hme and talk abut the functins f these parts.
T: Nw, let’s g near a huse. Lk, there is a big garden in frnt f the huse. Hw beautiful! Here is a lvely butterfly. It wants t have a visit t the huse. Let’s fllw it.

T: It’s the dining rm. What d peple d in the dining rm?
T: Where has the butterfly gne? Oh, it’s in the kitchen nw. What is the kitchen fr?
T: It’s a nice bedrm. D yu have yur wn bedrm? (Yes.) Oh, yu are s lucky. Yu have yur wn bedrm. Yu dn’t need t share yur bedrm with thers. (N.) Wh lives in the bedrm with yu? (My brther/sister.) Oh, that means yu share a bedrm with yur brther.

T: Nw the butterfly is n the balcny. D yu have a nice balcny in yur hme? What d yu usually d n the balcny?
