1. Learning bjectives（学习目标）
At the end f this lessn, students are able t:
（1）read, write and understand sme imprtant wrds, such as vide and rganize; understand the meanings f sme phrases, such as wear jeans, stay at hme, take the bus and g with sb. ; use these wrds
2and phrases in real situatins.
（2 use “ first cnditinal if+ will ” t talk abut cnditins and cnsequences in real situatins, make better decisins.
（3）get useful infrmatin frm listening materials by finding the key wrds first, read a shrt passage by using reading skills, including linking, stress, intnatin and pausing.
（4）knw hw t wear prperly t attend a party, make a party pster, knw party culture in sme cuntries and be
cnfident in Chinese culture.
2. Analysis abut students
Students in Grade 7 are curius abut getting knwledge and they are interested in party. They have learned the wrld “if” befre, s it wn’t be difficult t understand the meanings f sentences with “if”.
3. Imprtant and difficult pints（教学重难点）
The mst imprtant pint is using “if” t express cnditins and decisins in real situatins. The mst difficult pint is using the right tenses in “if” cnditinal sentence and the main sentence.

Task-based teaching methd and situatinal teaching methd are used.

Step 1 Warm up and lead in

设计意图：设置真实情景，引导学生体会与使用 if 引导的条件状语从句，表达假设的情况，以及设想带来的结果。并且，引出本节课的话题和大任务：为欢迎老朋友而举办聚会。
Step 2 Presentatin
Use sme questins and pictures t make students use “if” cnditinal clause.
If yu g t the party, what will yu d?
What will yu wear if yu g t the party?
Furth, listen t finish anther task and use pair wrk t make cnversatins. Ntice the linking(连读), stress(重音)，intnatin(语调) and pauses(暂停).Fifth, have grammar practice. Students can find sme rules by reading plenty f sentences with “if” and they can als get a cnclusin abut the tenses. Students learn that “if” is used t make cnditins r decisins and the main sentence is used t make cnsequences. Use a game t let students make their wn decisins and accept the cnsequences. Sixth, make cnversatins t talk abut hw t have a party. Seventh, have a discussin abut preparatins fr hlding a party.
设计意图：通过这一部分的听说练习，学生听懂举办聚会是需要在哪些做好准备。通过讨论，提高学生思考的全面性，引导学生认识到周全的思考与准备，是成功的基础。
Step 4 Summary
Summarize what we have learned tday. Knw “if clause” means “decisins” and “the main sentence” means “cnsequences”. Students shuld make gd decisins. Lk befre yu leap.
设计意图：总结本节课所学重点 if 引导的条件状语从句，引导学生认识到决定与结果的关系，树立正确的价值观念，思考周全，做出正确的决定。

Have a grup wrk. Enjy Zhang Wenxuan’s anther vide and help her t make party psters.

设计意图：利用本节课所学，完成 Welcme Party 的最后任务：制作聚会海报。学以致用，巩固所学知识，解决实际问题。

Students get t knw different kinds f parties bth in China and in freign cuntries. We have cnfidence in Chinese party culture and we shuld als knw the party culture in ther cuntries.
设计意图：增强学生文化意识，增强文化自信。了解中外不同的聚会文化，培养国际视野和家国情怀。
