本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第二单元” Sharpening Yur Skills”的文化理解（Culture Understanding）和语言实践（Language Practice）板块，语言实践板块由语法（Grammar）练习与词汇（Vcabulary）两部分练习组成。动词时态是学生英语学习的重要内容，帮助学生准确理解并熟练运用这一语法现象，为其英语学习打下坚实的基础。通过语境中的词汇练习，巩固本单元重点词汇的学习，提升学生对所学词汇的理解及应用能力。
学情分析
经过初中阶段的英语学习，学生对常用动词时态有一定掌握，但是不够严谨。他们知道常用时态基本结构，但由于对句中一些提示词汇的疏忽，思考不全面，对一些动词变化规则的了解和掌握也仍有不足；碎片化的知识极大地限制了学生对语言的掌握和运用。因此，教师应帮助学生建立知识之间的联系，搭建起常用时态的清晰知识结构，从而帮助学生更准确地理解和运用常用时态。对于词汇学习，教师则要将其放进具体的语境中，有助于学生理解词汇使用语境，掌握词汇的运用。
