展开课 题Unit 2 Sharpening Your Skills (Listening and Speaking)课 型Listening and Speaking课 时2授课班级授课时间90 mins授课教师教材分析本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第二单元“Sharpening Your Skills”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以社会实践、专业实训等为主题,目的是激活学生与实习、实训及社会实践相关的语言知识与常识,通过对话内容让学生理解专业技能训练和工作经验积累的重要性, 以及通过呈现职业学校学生在世界技能大赛上获得的荣誉来培养学生对职业教育的认同感和自豪感。学情分析参加社会实践、专业培训是与学生提升自身知识与技能紧密相连的话题。学生具有一定的参与本话题讨论与学习的基础与经历,但与专业的社会实习与实践相话题词汇量较小,新词汇需反复熟悉与巩固,虽有表达诉求,但口头表达参加实习、实训活动的经验存在英文表述困难。部分学生英语基础薄弱,知识储备量所限,表达意愿不积极,英语综合应用能力薄弱。因而教师首先通过快速浏览,信息预测,组织讨论,引导列举相关的话题词汇等,激活学生该主题下的语言知识与生活常识学习目标Knowledge Objectives:To learn words and phrases about sharpen skills: do an internship, have skill training, win the selection competition, The World Skills Contest...To have a power to apply the sentences fluently: What’s your plan for the summer vacation? I want to do an internship. Are you preparing for the World Skills Contest?Ability Objectives:1. To be able to understand talks about a skill competition. 2. To be able to communicate orally about participating in a competition and a volinteer activity.3. Watch the video about the 2022 World Skills Contest.Read the questions and discuss in groups.通过视频呈现职业学校学生在世界技能大赛上获得的荣誉来培养学生对职业教育的认同感和自豪感,并为后面学习做铺垫。Step 2: Warming upThink and answerAsk students the following queations.What kind of skills do you practice in your class?Which skill do you like best?What skill do you think is the most important for your major?Think and discussThe answers maybe:We have Calculator and practice counting skill mostly.I like practicing counting money. I think counting skill is the most important for my major.To be familiar with vocabulary and expressions about sharpening skills 通过参与话题讨论,积极调动学生与本话题相关的词汇和表达方式,为学习本单元做好铺垫。Step 3:ListeningActivity 1: Listen and match Ask students to scan the names of the characters and their activities, and predict the content of the dialogue. Then play the listening materials.Activity 2: Listen and chooseAsk students to scan the questions and answers and draw the key words such as how long ( months, weeks), adj. (busy, interesting)nouns (contest, reataurant ) etc. . Students actively predict the dialogue content, develop their ability to predict the listening content based on key information known.Activity 3: Listen and completeAsk students to scan the information in the World Skills Contest in Russia form and fill in the blanks. Guide the students to draw the key information in the table. Then play the recording.Finish the listening activities “Listn and match, Listen and choose and Listen and complete” in the textbook.本环节旨在训练学生根据已有的信息预测听力内容。在听的过程中获取、归纳并记录关键信息,侧重培养学生语言沟通能力和语言交互能力。领会主人公为实现专业发展努力奋斗的精神和培养学生国家的责任感与自豪感。Step 4: Dialogue learningActivity 4Read and choose Listen the recording and let students answer some question about doing volunteer work.Listen and underlineRead the dialogue after the recording to underline the sentences about doing volunteer work. Then check the answers.Language points Teach the impointant points of the recording such as be a volunteer, do volunteer work, go to the community, put what we learn at school into use ...Listen and find out the answers of the questions. Understand the important points and take notes.通过听对话回答 问题让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。Step 5: SpeakingActivity 5: Imitate and practiceStudents skim the dialogue and the contents of the options, understand the situation and general content of the dialogue, and draw the key information of the text.Students gives the answers and teachers organize students to read aloud in groups.Teacher invites a group of students to conduct a dialogue presentation. Teachers gave comments and encouragement.Activity 5: Act and practiceStudents choose the situation and do group oral practice and demonstration.Students in small groups further read contextual information, familiarize themselves with the language situation, and prepare for dialogue and communication.Teacher select some groups of students on the two topics for dialogue sharing, organized students to evaluate, and instructed students to pay attention to the completeness of the content and the correctness of the expressionImitate activity 4 and make up a new dialogue adn then practice with partners.Know how to talk about asking for adn giving information about a school club and a course.本环节通过跟读范本中重点句型、替换关键词模仿练习等活动,使学生掌握为谈论与他人分享自己参加技能比赛的经验或志愿服务活动的经历的基础语言表达。根据情境进行对话编排、演练的综合性口语表达活动,提升学生英语语言表达能力,职场语言应用能力,鼓励学生树立努力学习、终身学习的信念。Step 6:SummaryI have mastered the following vocabulary and expressions:1. volunteer 2. monitor 3.briefly 4. training center5.take part in 6. give lectures 7.
