    What ges up must cme dwn, right? Well, try ding an experiment with a cup f water that stays inside the glass when held upside dwn. Yu’ll need the help f sme cardbard and a little bit f air pressure.

    Their stry began in 2000, when Haixia, wh was already blind in his left eye, lst his right ne after an accident. Wengi lst his arms in an accident when he was just three. Neither culd find a jb and earn mney, s the tw decided t team up. They rented sme pr land and began t plant trees. In return, the lcal fficials paid them a small fee. Haixia climbs t the tree-tp and with Wenqi’s directin selects the perfect branch. He then digs a hle and carefully plants it. Finally Wenqi waters the area.
    Thugh hard-wrking, the men dn’t make much mney. Anyway, they depend n themselves. Wenqi says prudly, "We stand n ur wn feet s the fruits f ur wrk taste sweeter.”

    I was lucky enugh t have a chance t study in the United States as an internatinal student frm Ukraine when I was furteen years ld. I went t a wnderful schl, West Seattle High Schl, fr my freshman year.
    I remember my first day at that schl as if it were yesterday. I was very nervus, and I culd feel my heartbeat n the tips f my tes.     One day, I nticed the students lking at me suspiciusly. Finally, my classmate came up t my lcker and whispered, “Is that true that yu are a princess and that yu came t study here s that nbdy wuld recgnize yu?” At ne pint, I even had an image f myself wearing a gwn (长袍) and waving at the crwd. What? Peple d have a wild imaginatin! During my study abrad experience, I saw a ttally new wrld, experienced great culture, met a lt f incredible peple and imprved my language.     At 70 when many f peple are winding dwn, J Schnbrdt is smehw speeding up. On Sunday, Schnbrdt, a 71-year-ld frm Maastricht, ran a marathn in a staggering 2 hurs 54 minutes and 19 secnds t becme the fastest septuagenarian(七十至八十岁的) in histry.
